I just finished revising book two in my Wishing For a Magical Midlife series, and now I'm outlining book three to get ready to start drafting next week!

I knew I wanted to write a paranormal women's fiction novel, but I wanted it to be unique in the market and focus on an aspect of magic that hadn't been preciously focused on. But I was stumped in terms of what I actually wanted to write. I joined a group where cover designers could share pre-made covers they made for authors to buy. One cover designer, Karen Dimmick, shared three pre-made covers, and the first one I saw was a lamp. That sparked the idea for a book about a midlife witch who could grant wishes, and from there, the idea grew!
