I am now getting on with my fourth novel number four. It was called Clusterfuck, then Semper Fi and I now call it God Grant Grace. It starts with the hero leading a platoon of US Marines in the deep, dark and dangerous jungles of Vietnam in ’68 where he experiences so much violence, misery and pain that he quits the job and becomes a Benedictine monk by way of an Indian mystic Sat Chit Ananda. So it goes from extreme violence to extreme spirituality. A nice twist and turn of events I think.
