I've been writing since I was a little girl. I remember writing a comic strip with my sister (she did the illustrations) as a teenager. She still has some of them. It is important for me to write everyday. I do "morning pages" which is an idea I got from Julia Cameron's book "The Artist's Way". It's a great way to start that 'river' flowing - and get out of the way.
