The New Confederacy that you described is a society that is extremely stratified along racial, sexual, and economic class lines. To me, it seems that it would hard to keep a nation like that motivated to fight in a war in which all that's at stake is the right of a tiny minority to own sex slaves. Might there be a war between the remaining Union and the New Confederacy to liberate the kidnapped Northern women?
Lena White The same scenario that happened in 1861 would hold true today. Southern men would be motivated to fight for God and Country, while Southern women would be powerless to stop them. Northerners would be unlikely to start another war (they already lost once in my world) and would have no Union to preserve. As for the kidnapped Northern women, I doubt they would be seen as worth fighting for, seeing as so many people still seem all to eager to blame the victims for their misfortunes.

Hello from France Lady Lena! I am currently enjoying that series of yours, Slaves of the New Confederacy. Tough English is not my mother tongue, I am really enthralled by your style and plots. It is with dismay that I heard that this series has come to a stall since of early January 2024. Do you intend to reconsider? Anyway, thank you for your stories!

Amazon won't recognize my email address which I have had for a number of years. Have created a Goodreads account, but it keeps sending me to Amazon.
