Don Miller The book I published a few weeks ago is entitled Two & A Half Minutes. The topic I wanted to explore was near death experiences and the impact that they can have on those who experience them. That is just one of many topics I am interested in delving into. The 20-year-old girl who died for 2-1/2 minutes had to have a really bad life to set up the story of the near death experience enabling her to turn her life around. It was fun to write.
Don Miller I'm in the planning stage of my fourth novel. I typically build a novel around a topic I want to explore and then build the characters and situations into that environment. For this novel, I will delve into paranormal sciences and the relatively untapped capabilities of the human mind.
Don Miller Wake up in the morning.
Don Miller First attend some writing conferences. Get a feel for pitfalls to avoid before starting that first work.
Don Miller Everything is possible in a work of fiction. I can create any situation that seems intriguing. Finding the path to make it all seem plausible is part of the fun.
Don Miller I don't typically get writer's block. Once I have a general plan for a novel in place, it all seems to just flow. My bigger problem is finding the time to set aside to devote writing.
