It was actually given to me in a dream, so I believe by God. I had the most vivid dream about my MC, Talia, and when I woke up I knew I had to write it down. But then I forgot about it until a year later when God randomly reminded me of it, and I sat down and started writing it! I also do a lot of work with young adults, so they inspired a lot of it as well!
