Even on days when I just don't feel like writing, I try to write a little--even if it's in a journal. Typically when I get going, it tends to go away. I've found the biggest obstacle to writer's block is just sitting down.

I've always believed that cats offer so much to humans and that the stereotypes about them aren't true. And I've encountered so many people who have told me about how a cat has changed their lives, so I felt I should collect these stories and put them into a book. The result was Heroic, Helpful & Caring Cats: Felines Who Make a Difference.

My best advice is just to write. Don't worry if what you're writing makes sense or sounds good, just write and write and write. Then go back and edit. My father always said to me you can always go back and edit something and make it better, but you can't edit a blank page.
