J.D. Ford Buffy and Spike. I know they technically aren't from the books but I loved their love/hate relationship and Spike was a very well written character.
J.D. Ford Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm just glad to have found something to focus my energy (what little there is of it!) into my writing. Through it, I hope to offer entertainment to anyone I can.

I hope you don't suffer too much, I understand how difficult it is and if I can offer any words in return for the happiness your message brought me then I know it's worth it. X
J.D. Ford I wait a few days and relax. Have some fun!

Writers block is not the end of the world, give it time. Get the obvious ideas out of the way before sitting down and pushing past it.
J.D. Ford The freedom to work when you are most inspired. The feeling of completing work that you have spent months (or years!) developing.

J.D. Ford Become obsessed with your ideas. Plan things out, don't just rush in and start writing. Figure out where you want the story to go before you even get to the writing part.
J.D. Ford I'm about to start work on the as yet untitled third book in the Shadestaff series. I originally intended to only write one book on the world of Kedoenial, but it expanded so much that it turned into a trilogy.

And now, it's going to be at least five books.
J.D. Ford I became obsessed with the story. I find myself thinking about the story each time I have a moment to myself.
J.D. Ford I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping until someone offered me the advice to think of short stories in my mind to help distract me and send me right to sleep.

Worked like a charm until I came across one idea that I could not shake. I progressed the story each night until it began to keep me awake. So I wrote it down.
