If so, then I think it would be an interesting topic to create but sometimes links to blogs cause a bit of confusion as people aren't too sure where to conduct the dialogue. We try to keep it within our forum as much as possible for this reason.

Hi Mike, yes, the most fascinating aspect of the quantum world is the fact that it often contradicts our everyday understanding of the physical world. The fact that, as Heisenberg discovered, we can not know the position and velocity of a sub-atomic particle at the same time, the observations in the quantum double split experiment that seemed to alter depending upon whether or not we were monitoring, the ability of entangled particles to interact and change state at opposite ends of the universe - instantaneously, all mind-bending in their significance for science and, I believe, philosophy!

Ha ha - I agree with you, it's a perfect combination! I'm not sure what our marine police call me - probably 'it's him again', they once had to give me a tow when the outboard on my tender packed up mid-river estuary where the navy come in and out! I write a bit too and always seem to manage to get a bit of each into my books regardless of the genre!

Our latest book was inspired by the unique common cause around the world back in March when Coronavirus lockdowns were starting. We decided to create an anthology, written by ordinary people from all around the world, sharing their experiences during the pandemic wherever they lived.
The result was over 70 contributions of poetry and prose from every continent.
