It seems simple or cliché, but just write, everyday. 1, 10, 100, or 1,000 words. Write something down everyday, even if it's crap, it's something that gets your brain in that writing mindset. If you want to do traditional or self publish, the advice stays the same. Through the query trenches, the submission process, through launch day, and every day in between, you'll always need that next story to pull you out the muck of life that always threatens to stick us all into one unmoving place.

Book number four, and possibly the final installment, of the STARS LIKE ACID saga is nearly complete. After that, I have a delightfully witchy story that has been calling to me.

Oftentimes, I have too much inspiration and not enough time. Inspiration happens consistently throughout my day to day mundane routine. The way the sky looks will inspire just one line, and like a an infection, that line sprouts new worlds and new characters.

STARS LIKE ACID, as with most of my story ideas, started as a dream. A strong independent female saving a man from a space station, and when she opened the hatch and saw his face for the first time, they had and instant soulmate connection.
If you have read STARS LIKE ACID, you'll know the plot has drastically changed from that initial idea. However the feel of that dream stayed without me throughout the writing of this story.
