The seasons do not influence my reading choices. I'm not one to hang out at the beach, and even if I were, I wouldn't want to despoil my books by getting sand in the pages or binding. That being said, I do maintain an ever-evolving reading list; however, I'm just as likely to choose a book on a whim or impulse. I recently read my first C.J. Box book: "Open Season." I liked it well enough that I want to read other books in the Joe Pickett series.

Middle-earth's "Lothlorien" seems compelling, at least for a visit. I wouldn't want to live there permanently, and I'm sure the Elves wouldn't want me to either; however, I would be interested in exploring and experiencing this magical realm.
