James L. Rubart The only time I've had writer's block is when I'm hiding something inside. Something I don't want to face, or let out. When I'm true to myself, pushing to be authentic, then the words flow.
James L. Rubart Hey Kev,

Glad you like the story. Toren was a hard guy to write, because he was such a tool before his transformation, so I hear you.

I think you're right, there could definitely be more to Toren's story going forward. No plans at this point, but someday? Yes!

James L. Rubart Great questions, Tracey.

The best? Taking a seed of an idea and wondering how in the world I was going to come up with a novel from it, then seeing it slowly happen. The hardest is always bringing the story to a crescendo at the end, with enough twists to keep readers guessing, but not so much that they go huh? I'm not sure if I ever get that quite right.
