Oh my God! I forgot how to write!

I really like the world of the Lord of the Rings, and I would love to be some type of magic user.

It would appear that my reviews over on Amazon have earned some notice. I frequently receive emails asking if I will review some author's book. I make a point of reviewing every book I am given in this manner, though I don't make it though a book very fast, and summers are probably my worst.

I don't know. I Suppose the biggest mystery in my life was when I moved to Alaska in the first place. I could have been moving to another planet for all I knew about the place. All I knew was snow, Eskimos, and igloos. But I was game. When I arrived, I think I suffered from a kind of culture shock. I mean, there were cars, and buildings, and highways - all the normal things. I have yet to see an igloo, but I have totally fallen in love with the snow. I love winter.

Of course. You will find bits and pieces of my life sprinkled throughout my books. Anything to do with living without our normal 'grid' would have been drawn from personal experience.

Most anyone from say fourteen on up should enjoy it thoroughly. Younger kids might too. but I'd allow an older person to decide. I consider my writing clean enough for anyone, but I pull no punches when it comes to what can happen.

I go work on something else for a while. Sometimes I just need time to think. And occasionally, I need to back up and make some changes.

Practice makes perfect, so get to writing, you'll get better. Also, if someone gives you some criticism take it for what it's worth; it just might be very helpful.

My first book came out rather rough and I've learned a thing or two since that one was published. There were things in the book that bugged me (I'm thinking most readers didn't even notice), but from the first I had always planned to give it a facelift. That's what I'm working on now.

I love to write. Besides, when the book store is around 100 miles away, what better way to get a new book than to write one yourself?

A lot of my ideas come from dreams - I have strange ones. I'll jot them down. Sometimes they develop. Sometimes they merely become a scene. Once in a while I merely create a character, and then he or she has to have a goal, and the route to that goal is never smooth.
