So my parents bought a house out in the country (after all their adult kids were on their own). The elderly lady that sold it to them moved in with a niece. Once fully medicated and lucid, she confessed to the murder of her mother. The mother was "buried" in their septic tank. This triggered a series of events which are remarkable. I could ABSOLUTELY write this book.

Write. Quit telling yourself "I can't", or "I don't know where to start". Pick a point, an idea, and write it. Start with 1 scene, then another. When you get a few pieces done, sequence, and fill in the gaps. Keep writing. Keep reading. Keep reviewing. Just keep doing something.
