Meg Farrell So my parents bought a house out in the country (after all their adult kids were on their own). The elderly lady that sold it to them moved in with a niece. Once fully medicated and lucid, she confessed to the murder of her mother. The mother was "buried" in their septic tank. This triggered a series of events which are remarkable. I could ABSOLUTELY write this book.

Meg Farrell Write. Quit telling yourself "I can't", or "I don't know where to start". Pick a point, an idea, and write it. Start with 1 scene, then another. When you get a few pieces done, sequence, and fill in the gaps. Keep writing. Keep reading. Keep reviewing. Just keep doing something.
Meg Farrell I usually write when the ideas in my head are taking up too much space. I know its time to write when I can't sleep because the ideas are demanding too many cycles and I can't sleep.

Meg Farrell I turn on some music for whatever mood I'm in, and then I ask myself, "What is the worst/best thing that could happen right now?" Usually an idea pops before I can finish the first few songs.
