Coffee. Long walks. More coffee. Reading. With reading I have to be careful to find something that's at exactly that right level where it's not junk but I also don't feel intimidated out of writing ever again by its sheer sunlit perfection, nor is it one of those writers with a contagious style that is nothing like mine, otherwise what I wind up writing is completely unusable, but -- some combination of those things. And coffee.
