Wow. My favorite fictional couple....
Currently, I would have to say MacKayla Lane & Jerricho Barrons from Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. I think they have a great chemistry between them and a mutual respect for one another and the burdens they bear. I like how they have grown through the series and are totally devoted to one another. I love their 'silent' conversations that only they are privy to, and of course, their sex sizzles.
Of my own series, I would have to say Venom and Mally. I love that he is a strong alpha and yet gentle enough to allow Mally to come into her own, in her own time and place. They are devoted to one another and are a perfect balance to each others' personalities.

Yikes...writer's block. Well...if I hit a wall with a story, I usually put it to the back burner and let it simmer a while. I actually have a story I began about 23 years ago. I got 200 pages in and slammed into a wall. So I pushed it to the side and had three other stories pour into my mind and written down. During the final phase of my latest project, I finally figured out how to continue with my story from 23 years ago...and this will be my next book! :)

I think the best thing about being a writer is that I can entertain others by telling a story. I can suspend their belief and transport them out of their daily lives and into a world that I have created. To be able to to that and have people enjoy it is just the best feeling in the world.

My advice to aspiring writers is to just DO IT. Begin by writing down any ideas you get, no matter how small or incomplete. Jot down any little scense or vignettes you "see" and include all your five senses: What did you see? What did you smell? What did it feel like? What did it taste like? What did you hear? Keep all these notes on your computer or laptop in folders. Eventually you'll begin to piece them together into a story you want to tell. But just write stuff down, write out whatever you can. Don't just sit there and think about it--do it!

I am currently working on finalizing "The Avalar: Daught of the Air." We are doing our final read-through for continuity and finishing up the cover art and design. With luck, the book should be out this June.

My inspiration comes from my dreams and my vivid imagination. I really curtail what I could possibly write about as I think I would freak out my family if they saw what really lives inside my head...

As with all my stories, they began with a dream. I have very lucid dreams and some just really stick with me. These little nuggets become the tales I tell in my novels.
