My advice is, write for YOU. Don't write for the masses. Ever. I did that and I had to re-write it three times....and that's a serious waste of time and effort. Outline your story the way you want it to go, and write what you'd want to read.

A tough one for me right now since I have a raging case of it. LOL Sometimes reading through old books, or waiting WIP's will jog the juices, or just getting out for a serious change of scenery helps.

The best thing about being a writer? I'd say...to do what I love, to live out my dream and do something I've adored since I was very young.

That's a tough one for me right now (lacking inspiration) but sometimes tv, movies, or just life experiences will motivate me to write. I can be in the car or at work and get an idea, jot it down, and it becomes a full-fledged story before I know it. To answer...anything can inspire me. It's just a matter of going with that jolt of energy.

My most recent book is Ice Fairy; and the inspiration was easy....I am (or was) a figure skater and always wanted to have a main character that was one as well. The natural enemy of figure is hockey, so put those together and that was my inspiration for this series.
