I just found this question. I'm so happy to hear that you love Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant! It was one of my favorites to write. Yes, I do book tours but have never done one in New York yet! Hopefully I'll be able to get out there one day! Thanks!

Hi! Oh, thank you for asking me about this. Cherry Scones & Broken Bones went out of print shortly after it was published due to the publisher, Midnight Ink, going out of business. It was so heartbreaking to hear this because I really love this mystery! The rights have reverted back to me and I plan to have this book out on kindle very soon! I'm just waiting for a new cover (in the works) and then it will be ready to download. I'll be sure to announce it when it happens. I think you're really going to love this Very Cherry Mystery!

It's a toss up between Cherry Cove and Beacon Harbor. Both have great baked goods, hunky men, and spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Oh, and the people are really friendly. Of course, when you visit one of these charming lakeside villages the first thing you're going to want to do is grab a delectable baked good and a good cup of coffee. Then head on down to the lake. There's nothing like having breakfast while sitting on the shores of a lake. It just sets you up for a perfect day!

I really love writing a series. For me it's so much fun thinking up that next adventure for my characters to embark on. When I realized that my third Beacon Bakeshop mystery would come out in the summer of 2022, I wanted a summer theme. Since Michigan is know for its blueberries and its blueberry festivals, I knew I just had to put a blueberry festival in Beacon Harbor. The moment I thought of blueberries the fun began. My characters embraced the concept, and that's where the magic happens. I won't say any more. However, if you like the Beacon Bakeshop Mystery Series, you won't want to miss this third installment!

The stories and characters I write about inspire me. It probably sounds boring, but in my busy life, I really cherish spending some quiet time in my office writing. I've been doing it for years and years. Now, by the grace of God, it's my profession. If I ever need one more nugget of inspiration to sit at the keyboard and keep going, it's that.

I'm currently working on my third Beacon Bakeshop Mystery! So excited about this one because it takes place at the Beacon Harbor Blueberry Festival. How Michigan is that! Oh, and of course I'll have to start baking up some delicious blueberry baked goods to add to the recipe section. Good thing Lindsey Bakewell loves blueberries almost as much as I do!

Hi Brandi, thanks so much for the question. Of course! There will be some delicious cherry pie recipes in the edited version of the book. I'm a baker at heart, and when I decided to write a food-based mystery part of the appeal was being able to share some of my yummy recipes, including a classic Door County cherry pie. (Yes, it really is a thing!) I'm so sorry the recipes didn't make it into the ARC. Unfortunately, ARCs are very early, unedited versions on the book. However, I'm so grateful to everyone who's been willing to read an ARC and post a review, that I'd be happy to send them the recipes. However, I won't be able to do that until June 8th.
