Maya and I are working on a graphic novel series based on the characters we introduce in Dandelion Magic. (As well as handful of other exciting projects to be announced soon!)

I wake up inspired. I have so many ideas popping into my head, it is almost counter productive. I cannot wait to sit down and work on a story each day. That said, I also have (self-diagnosed) ADD. To clear my head, I take breaks to workout, eat, tidy the house, watch youtube, etc whenever I feel like I've hit a wall.

My newest book, Dandelion Magic evolved in a magical way! I met the illustrator, Maya Tatsukawa, when we were both working in Seoul, South Korea. I really wanted to make a book that readers could blow on and "effect". We loved the idea of a dandelion and the book took shape over many, many coffee breaks (for me) and many, many tea breaks (for Maya). My son Jonah became the star and Maya's grandmother became the co-star.
