I'm rereading the Black Dagger Brotherhood books I've already read and plan to finish the series. I'm also working through the entire In Death series by JD Robb. I've been off and on with that, and it's taken mr 1 1/2 years to get to #30. There are several Alexis Hall books I missed (*Ten Things that Never Happened,* among others). I'm reading a couple of Susan Wiggs titles I missed. Believe it or not, I've never read *Bridgerton,* so that's on my list, as well. And I plan to catch up with more of my favorite MM authors!

Easy. Hogwarts. I'd just wander the halls, check out the great hall, the dorms, and wander into a class or two. Watch a quidditch match.

When I was in my twenties, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. I took a leave of absence from grad school to take care of him. For a while, I stayed in a little motel attached to the hospital he was in.
I carried around his old briefcase that contained bills, insurance information, his medical records, other important information. One day it was stolen out of my room. I reported it to the front desk, and as it was the very last straw with everything else going on, I got hysterical. Truly hysterical. The only time in my life that has happened. I kept screaming, "there was no money in it, nothing of value to anyone but Daddy and me. How could someone do this?"
About two days later, the briefcase was discovered at the bottom of the stairwell in the hotel. I never knew who stole it or who put it back. But I was grateful for whoever did.
