The dragons in Rise of the Dragon Moon are incredible! It's hard to believe they don't actually exist. Was there anything specific that inspired you when you were creating them?
Gabrielle K. Byrne I love this question! I spent a lot of time in collage studying marine biology and botany, so I'm fascinated by life cycles, and the relationship between a species and its environment. The dragons were inspired by two things initially. The first was the life cycle of a dragonfly. The second was the discovery that dinosaurs are related to birds, and many likely had feathers!
