Having an outlet for all the ideas I have in my head. And also the thought that you can write until the day you die - no idle old age in store for me!

On holiday in a beautiful country on the Adriatic coast it just came to me... that's how ideas happen for me. Everyone is different and I don't think where the idea comes from matters, it's what you do with it. And that you do something with it... don't just let it float away!

Don't give up. Believe in yourself because if you don't, sure as hell no one else will. Listen to and take on board any feedback you get but don't allow it to deflect you if you don't agree with it. Keep going - it might take years, so be patient.

You just can't let it happen. You sit down and write and and you write something, even if it's rubbish and you throw it all away later. So I suppose what I'm saying is, you write through the block until you come out the other side.
