Mark, how many books do you envisage the Burton & Swinburne adventures reaching or do you already have a definitive ending ready? Cheers

Mark Hodder The sixth and final book in the series, THE RISE OF THE AUTOMATED ARISTOCRATS, is due for publication in August 2015.

I feel in love with the narration of all the books. Especially the Swineburne. Do you find that your fans find him the fav of the cast of characters?

Mark Hodder Yes. Swinburne seems to be everybody's favourite. I guess it's good to be a perverted, alcoholic poet!

I went on a long, intellectual exploration of Algernon Swinburne and hedonist philosophy thanks to you. Thanks!! Any advice you'd give to a writer just beginning to seek publishing? "...Is it worth a tear, is it worth an hour, To think of things that are well outworn?..."

Mark Hodder My only advice is to write like crazy every hour of every day and don't worry if it's rubbish ... because once it's finished at least you'll have something to polish until it shines.

Mark Hodder I would love to, Esope, but it's dependent on the film or TV companies wanting to do it.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Mark Hodder Don't wait for inspiration. Just sit down and write. Don't worry if it's no good. All writing is no good at first. It's the editing and rewriting that makes it good.
