Gail Pallotta A fire of dread burned inside Marnie as she wondered if the unthinkable would occur as predicted when the clock struck midnight. Twelve eerie dongs pounded her head like bullets, and she witnessed the murder she could never forget or speak of.
Gail Pallotta I enjoy our modern day conveniences, so that rules out some classics I've enjoyed over the years. With that in mind I'd probably be in California on the beach in one of James Scott Bell's Romeo stories, but I would only be a bystander or beach comber.
Gail Pallotta Summer's slipping away, and I've read quite a few books during this sunshiny season, including Nancy Mehl's Fire Storm.
Gail Pallotta In Classic Literature, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. They both are strong characters and even in that time when women were supposed to search for a husband for his wealth, Elizabeth marries for love, and Mr. Darcy admires the spunky person she is.
Gail Pallotta Five writers decided it would be fun to publish a series of retold fairy tales as Christian novellas. I chose Jack and the Beanstalk because I enjoy writing mystery and suspense with a bit of romance. I thought the beanstalk could lend itself to something of value on top of a mountain. Then I decided to have someone kidnap Jack's girlfriend. Of course, the book needed a giant. Thus began the crime, the undercover operation, the climb, escape and perilous descent down a mountain.
Gail Pallotta I'm working on an adult inspirational romance about a young woman with a mysterious illness. It will be published by Prism Book Group. I finished this book, and it's currently available on Amazon and on the Prism Imprint of Pelican Book Group. The Amazon link is http://amzn.to/1W4fUXB . I'm working on a new series about working women.
