Hello - Every writer takes his or her time to get started. I once saw a bestselling author tweet that if she didn't have a deadline, her closet would never be organized. I can say the same about my spice drawer. But eventually, you do need to sit down (or stand up, or talk into your iPhone app as you walk) and write. Sometimes you can be on fire and it all comes out. Sometimes you feel like you're shoveling garbage all day. Chances are, with the latter, you come back the next day and see, ah, okay, here is the bit I can use. There is really no magic to it, or no more that comes when you commit. Commit.
