Jennifer: Your "Elijah's Fight for Freedom" arrived today. I am giving it as a gift to a son and grandson, but wanted to read it first. Loved it! You asked me if I were related to him. Yes, via my husband's family line. Exciting to be related to this amazing man. Is there anything else you wanted to know?

That's great to hear about your family connection. I'd be proud, too. He was an amazing man and deserves a lot more attention than he has received.

I was home in Alton, Illinois just a few weeks ago and went by to visit his memorial. I always try to drive by that and Robert Wadlow's statue when I'm back there.

Jennifer, have you heard anything from Schoolwide yet? I am dying to know what my book looks like. Last email from my editor said he would be sending out a link to the page so we could view the book, but that was about a month ago. Gloria
Jennifer Phillips No, I haven't received any details yet either. I'll check in with my editor in May after I get my current manuscript draft submitted to my Capstone editor. I'm up to my eyeballs in that right now!
