Write. Don't talk about writing. Just write. Anything. And secondarily, read, especially in the genres in which you want to write.

I deal with writer's block in a couple of ways. First, I'll just walk away and do some other activity, even if it's going to the couch and closing my eyes to think about some other activity. I don't worry about writing ... I just go back to it when I'm ready. Second, I'll simply begin writing anything, even if it's just a list of topics I want to cover ... how I should market a particular book ... an intro for a book. That seems to take the pressure off and get me through any blocks.
