I'm pondering a sequel to Crowded Trade. This takes some conjuring. I spend time in Manhattan visualizing scenes including parts of the murder plot. I have expect a NYPD cop to tap me on the shoulder and arrest me for conspiracy to commit nefarious deeds.

When I worked for financial institutions I used to write reports as to why a particular investment was a good or bad idea. Now I write financial thrillers. I didn't realize it but the investment analysis had more fiction in it than the book.

I was driving a truck and hit a rather large pothole and the opening scene came to me. The book flowed from that scene. I have a financial background so I understood some of the dark dynamics that drive rich and powerful people. I'm not rich or powerful so I have always been skeptical in an emperor wears no clothes perspective. Noir.
