Scott, I ask this one a lot, because I'm truly interested. Do you outline your novels, and if so, to what extent? Or, like me, are you a "panster" and wing it as the story unfolds itself (mostly through the characters telling me where to go next)?

Scott Kauffman Michael: Thank you for your question. Because my novels almost always have 5 or 6 subplots knocking into one another, eventually I outline, though usually not until I have totally confused myself. I do, however, find it helpful to write a scenario before I begin, which is straight narrative exposition, beginning to end, so I keep myself on tract. Hope this helps. Best,

Scott Kauffman Thank you for your interest, Anne. I am going to take your question as a typo and that you meant "your life" and not "our lives." Am hoping my life will be even more busy with marketing and also basking a little in the limelight. What are you currently working on?

Scott Kauffman A novel tentatively titled The Song of Deborah: Before a grief-stricken but in-denial bounty hunter can risk incurring the wrath of the syndicate that hired him to track down their fifteen-year old runaway, he must first face his own responsibility for the suicide of his teenage daughter.
