I used histories written by Alison Weir and John Gillingham, both of which are just called The Wars of the Roses, and also a book by Desmond Seward also called The Wars of the Roses: through the eyes of Five Men and Women. any of these is an excellent introduction to the period, which i know is complicated! I hope you enjoy Rebellion - Accession is out later this year, and hopefully everything should be clear by then...Once again thank you for taking the trouble to write.
Livi Michael Hi - it is roughly based on the Mappa Mundi of which there is a copy in the John Rylands library Manchester and in the British Library, London. Really interesting question, thank you - because it did become a central theme of the novels - the changing world!
