How do you deal with writer’s block?
Markie Madden I don't! The last time I had writer's block, I left the file alone for so long that my laptop ate it!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Markie Madden The best thing about being a writer is the ability to lose myself in another life for a while, and sharing that other life with my readers!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Markie Madden Never give up! I mean, NEVER! What may not seem possible may become doable tomorrow, next month, or next year.

What are you currently working on?
Markie Madden I have Triple Heist, which is a crime novel, and Fang and Claw, book one of The Undead Unit Series, which is going to be a crime/paranormal series.

How do you get inspired to write?
Markie Madden Often, it's my pets and things that are going on or have happened in my life.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Markie Madden I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 37. Leukemia, and AML specifically. I'm hoping to inspire others with life-threatening illness, let them know they're not alone, and there is light at the end of the tunnel!
