Kate Steele Hi Diane,

I'm in the process of reediting both of these books and will be self publishing them digitally on Amazon and other venues in the near future. Thank you for the question. Much appreciated!

Kate Steele On a dark and gloomy night I ran out of milk. At the grocery store I rounded a corner and lo, there before me; my ex husband.
Kate Steele I think the most immediate answer is being able to tell the tale, to be creative and put your ideas down in a way that others find enjoyable to read. For me, reading is such an absorbing activity and if I can create something others can read and derive pleasure from, then that's beyond rewarding.

The second best thing about being a writer is being your own boss! I set my own hours and I'm in control of what does or doesn't get done. It's a lot of responsibility, but it's so great to be the captain of your own fate.
Kate Steele Think of other things and do anything but try to write. My favorite writer's block activity is weeding. Go out and get your hands dirty. Weeding is one of those activities that just captivates me. You don't have to think about anything, but dealing with the compulsion to pull one more weed. I can do this for hours and it leaves me feeling tired but relaxed and satisfied and relaxation is the key. When the body is relaxed, the mind follows and the ideas begin to flow.
