I just ignore it. I don't write everyday in the same place at the same time. I write a lot when I have ideas, and not as much when I don't. But I'm always keeping some sort of journal (even if it's just a running journal--marking distance and pace and what I see). And I'm always writing a blog or reviewing something. So, I'm never not writing, even when I'm not writing.

Reading. I read something and want to find out more: I'm pretty obsessive about researching in order to write poems and books. Also I run a lot: I get ideas when my mind is just allowed to wander.

I got kind of obsessed with the connection that music has with memory. It's almost as strong as smell. I started doing a lot of research on synesthesia. And I was raised listening to music: I've always listened to a lot of music. I reviewed music for a while, and that's still my favorite job.
