Since you asked, I’ve written several books since then, and I’m currently working on a new novel set between Cornwall and France across two timelines, which I’m very excited about.

Hi Karren, first of all a HUGE apology for not seeing this message. I returned here today because I wanted to find a space that was all about books and reading. A little solace in a world that feels as though it's turning upside down and inside out.
I hope my books still appeal! I have written lots more since 2022. The audio book side of production has been slow. The reason for this is because the lovely studio I planned to use (Sawmills on the River Fowey - only reached by boat) has been sold. In the meantime I need to build a booth of my own. Working on it. - or rather my partner is!

When I find I can't write it's a great indicator that I'm not writing something that I am loving 100%. I normally put it away and go back to it later on. In the meantime I'll write something different.

I love the whole process of writing a book. It's an escape from everything. I believe with all my heart that if one person enjoys what I have written then all the hard work and angst is worthwhile.

Write! As much as possible. Never give up. Expect to eat baked beans for a long time! Make friends with other writers. They are a wonderful support.
