The idea for "Cassidy's Touch", which is my story in The Shadow Files came about when I asked myself the question, "What if a ghost, wasn't really a ghost?"

Nothing inspires me more than turning a story idea on it's ear by adding an element that would change it. I was listening to WW2 era music on You Tube one day and happened to also find a page with vintage "Wolfman" movie posters, and came up with "I'll Be Seeing You".

I tend to work on a couple of projects at the same time. At the moment all of the stories are paranormal.

Keep a journal. There's nothing like writing down your first or last thoughts of the day to inspire you to write more.

I can't pick just one thing. It's all good. I love the entire process.

If I stare at a blank sheet of paper for too long, I know I need to relax one part of my brain so the other will function. I usually go to lunch with friends, rummage through thrift and antique shops or do some gardening. Works like a charm.
