I don't usually have books on a to-read list. I usually take life as it throws it at me. If something intrigues me, I'll check it out and if it sounds good, I'll pick it up and read it.

Yes! The prologue is available on the publishers website. It is a full chapter from the book, that is no longer part of the book. Due to the length of the novel, we decided to cut the word count by 15k words so the prologue had to go. It is still a fun read and gives some backstory on our main character, Mackenzie Daneen.
We affectionately refer to the prologue as, "How Mikki found her mojo."

My first full length novel, "Hidden Design, the Prophecy" with co-author CK Stone. The book is 106k word, contemporary fantasy-thriller, set in NY city.
The novel is due to be released Oct 1st 2016.
I'm also working on a fundraiser to get the book in print and promoted. Who knew fundraiser campaigns would be almost as much work (and not near as much fun) as writing a novel.
