So naturally I had to come up with my own clandestine agency Delta Star, and I had to fill it with the most deadly, sexy secret agents my fevered brain could conceive of. It varies. If I'm feeling stuck sometimes I go outside for a walk or take my laptop out on the patio. The important thing is to write everyday even if you think it's not coming out the way you want. Do it repetitively and you can write your way out of writers block.
