Deborah Wallis I'm currently working on a novel set in Wilmington, NC. It's a story of female friendships and how they can get us through the rough spots with humor and love.
Deborah Wallis Sometimes the inspiration to write comes with an idea, a basic plot or a character and then I clear my calendar and curl up with the computer. Other times when there is no inspiration, I schedule writing and curl up with the computer anyway. The words may come slower, but they still come.
Deborah Wallis My mother died when I was in my 20's. I wanted to write something that told the story of the loss of that relationship and how important it is even in adulthood.
