I've started reading the Kurtherian Gambit books. I really enjoyed them when I first started them. They were so exciting. But now, I'm kind of getting bogged down. It is difficult to sort out the correct reading order of all the series. But they are worth the read.

I really think writer's block is nature's way of telling you there is something wrong with the story you're writing. I was stumped on a story for months at one stage. I began to despair I'd ever write again. Then I talked the story over with my husband and found out what was wrong with it. Instantly, I realised I'd gone in the wrong direction. Once I backtracked, basically a complete rewrite, I was right again. But I also think burnout does play a part in writer's block. I need time off just like anyone else does.

The best thing about being a writer is to dream. I can lay back, eyes closed and dream of how i want my next scene. Then I can get up and write it. Writing allows me to think up wild characters that in real life I would never meet. It allows me to expand my mind by doing research. There are numerous things i love about being a writer.

Write and write more. For many years I was told not to write - by everyone. There is no money in writing. Get a real job. I listened to their advice and didn't write. Well. No more. Now I write. So my advice is to listen to your own heart. Write if you want to regardless what anyone thinks.

I'm currently working on my third and fourth book in the My Town series. I hope to have them published soon. I'm also working on books five and six in the Outback Tours series. The next book in the CIA spoof series needs to be written. And i have many other books written, but need editing. So am quite busy.

I've always loved reading. I wanted to write books that I enjoyed. So I began writing. My first book was about cars that talked and had emotions. I never published it though. My dad wanted a book about cars so that's what I wrote.

The idea for my recent book came from the previous books in the series. It was just a natural progression of what else could happen.
