Man, I didn't get notification of this, so I am sorry I missed the question. Depending on what you like, but if it's based off I like, start with The Darkslayer Omnibus. Thanks for reading!

There aren't any fictional couples, at least in terms of the sci-fi and fantasy that I've read that had an impact. It seems to me that most stories focus on a single character. I like the show Castle and really like him and her as a team. That's one reason I created The Supernatural Bounty Hunter Files, Smoke Rising, with Sid and Smoke. A great team. Actually, Sully and Mulder come to mind from the X-Files. They are probably the best that I can think of, male and female, that is. A true power couple.

Hi Cat, sorry for the long delay, but I just saw this. There aren't any books between the series. Actually, there wasn't too much time between them, I think maybe less than a year. So glad you love the books. Do me a favor and follow me on facebook, or join my newsletter. That would be great. www.craighalloran.com The Darkslayer Report on FB. It's easy to contact me there.

Hi Christine,
I just saw this messages just now and I'm sorry for the delay. I don't get notifications as I'd hope and check in rarely. Anyway, Groovy Ghoulies is a reference to a 1970's cartoon. Reefer, eh, I guess I could have use another word. It's would have been more suitable in dialogue. The taranutula, well, most people don't know that tarantula's don't bite. Thanks for the note though, it's helpful.

I've never had writer's block. I have sitting down and writing block. Yep, I like to doodle and surf the web, watch TV and lot's of football. Once I start writing though, I'm rolling, but it's starting that is tough.
A few things about me. I'm a fly by the seat of your pants writer. I don't outline. Not on paper and not in my mind. I have no idea what is going to happen until I begin writing. I like it! If I don't know, then the reader won't know. Other than starting with the main characters, such as The Darkslayer or Nath Dragon, everyone else just shows up. I can't explain it but it's fun.

Writing's a curse. Honestly. Once I start a book I need to finish and it' drives me nutz until I'm finished. Now that I've begun I know I have so much to write but I'll never have the time. That said, I love the freedom of unleashing my imagination on the pages. But best of all is hearing from fans and readers that want more! That's why I do it. I've made a connection with people all over the world and it's mind boggling. I aim to please them and I hope to do so for a long time.

You have to write at least a little bit everyday. Start small. Don't worry about writing a 100K book. Do some short stories, 10k-40k,and turn them into a series. Self publish and make the first book free. Read Self-Editing for Fiction Writers and Immediate Fiction. Listen to or read, On Writing by Stephen King. Those 3 books helped me a lot. When it's all done get your work professionally edited.

I want to write in several genre's and Urban Fantasy seemed like something I could have a lot of fun with. I enjoyed the Dresden Files, and shows like Supernatural and the X-Files. I thought I could have a blast with mixing fantasy with the modern word. Hence come, The Supernatural Bounty Hunter files.

When email started, I began sending goofy short stories and funny movies reviews to my friends. They loved it, so I decided to write a full length novel. It took 10 years to finish it, but I hung in there. Now I write books in 1 to 3 months and I have 23 books to show for it.
