I'm an information junkie. That probably comes from the fact that I have a curiosity that just won't quit! I love collecting odd facts or interesting bits of information. I tuck these away to be incorporated into my writing at will. A particularly fascinating bit of info will set my creative wheels turning and from there it's just a question of how I will use it, and in which book.

Sherlock's Home is conceived as a series, so the next project is #3 in the Finn Sherlock lineup. Each novel corresponds to a letter of the alphabet, for instance 'Contentious Crone,' and Indigo Inkster' in no particular order. Right now I'm in the information gathering mode so the title hasn't presented itself yet...but it will!

Gee. Where do I start? As a creative person, I love the 'carte blanche' that writing gives me. The possibility is endless for the world I can create. Unique characters and inviting settings are just a start.
On a practical level, I love the flexibility that writing gives me: my time is my own. Of course, when I'm in the depths of writing the creativity can be a relentless taskmaster, requiring long hours at the keyboard. But, that's also fun...going with the flow.
