I always thought my mom's life would make a good book. She grew up a farm girl and lost her mother to the polio epidemic and then her brother was KIA as an undercover cop. Her other brother almost died in Vietnam. I almost died in Afghanistan, and her other son almost died on the streets . . . lol. Poor mom.
