Dick Reynolds Always fun to debark. The best one was climbing down the net into a bobbing LCVP.
Dick Reynolds I've been to Alaska on a business trip back in 1993 but not on a cruise. Most of my "cruises" have been on U. S. Navy ships.
Dick Reynolds I have three books to read on my nightstand and another eight books on my "to read" list. That should keep me busy for several months.
Dick Reynolds It truly is a small world. My mom used to pal around with another woman named Dorothy Hollis in Centerville. Did you know her? BTW, I once had a business trip to Paris in 1968 and was out taking a stroll when I ran into a guy who had been my neighbor in California several years before. We were both flabbergasted, amazed and delighted to have such a reunion.
Dick Reynolds Sorry to disappoint but no more giveaways are on the horizon. These days I'm content to catch up on my reading and post book reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. BTW, my mother lived in Centerville at one time.
Dick Reynolds Oz -- and ask the Wizard just what he's hiding behind that curtain.
Dick Reynolds Several thrillers by Michael Connelly and Jo Nesbo.
Dick Reynolds How an overweight college freshman could turn his life around to be come a career Marine.
Dick Reynolds Yuri Zhivago and Lara Guisher. Their love story is inspirational and ultimately tragic when they are parted and unable to find each other again. I've read the book by Pasternak and seen the movie at least a dozen times.

Dick Reynolds Read, read and read everything you can. Try to write something every day and never give up.
Dick Reynolds Take a hike, play some bridge or work in the garden.
Dick Reynolds In my last two novels there were two characters who intrigued me: Sheriff Eliot Waters and Detective Sharon Hardcastle. They started a romantic relationship in Shattering the Triangle so I wanted to carry it further and see how they'd cope with a long distance relationship. They're having a tough time in my current novel called A Desperate Measure and I don't know yet whether they'll survive as a couple.
Dick Reynolds Getting my next book ready for publication. It's a collection of short stories with an international flavor and titled Around the World in 80 Years.
