It truly is a small world. My mom used to pal around with another woman named Dorothy Hollis in Centerville. Did you know her? BTW, I once had a business trip to Paris in 1968 and was out taking a stroll when I ran into a guy who had been my neighbor in California several years before. We were both flabbergasted, amazed and delighted to have such a reunion.

In my last two novels there were two characters who intrigued me: Sheriff Eliot Waters and Detective Sharon Hardcastle. They started a romantic relationship in Shattering the Triangle so I wanted to carry it further and see how they'd cope with a long distance relationship. They're having a tough time in my current novel called A Desperate Measure and I don't know yet whether they'll survive as a couple.
