When you're a full-time writer, you don't wait for inspiration. You write. Sometimes, it's not so good, but that's okay, because you can go back and edit it to make it better before it is published.

The basic storyline for A Heart's Gift percolated in my mind and heart for a few years before I wrote it. I pray about every book while I'm writing. I also like the fact that I can work at home. I turned one of the bedrooms into an office when my daughters grew up and left home, so my office is right down the hallway, and when I get an new idea, I just go to the office and document it for when I'm working again.
