I'm currently finishing off my matriarchal fantasy which I hope is a fun romp with talking cats and family politics and also for a change I'm just sending out my gay time travel romance to friends who are acting as beta readers.

Write and then edit. Work shopping can be useful in lots of ways but the most important thing is that writers write. Don't dream about doing it or read about doing it or wait for the muse to strike. Do it!

Currently I am working on a fantasy novel in which women are the most important people in a family and money is passed down through the mothers line. I just got tired of reading patriarchal societies and wanted to explore what a matriarchal one looked like. Its fantasy for goodness sake.
