Robin Landry There’s a mind virus that infects people through their ego so they don’t know they have it and will defend it to the point of insanity.
Robin Landry 28 Summers and I’ll let you know what else. I don’t plan ahead. I just read what catches me my eye or is recommended.
Robin Landry If you love to write, then do it and don't think you have to be published to be a writer. If you write--you're writer. If you ride a horse, you're a rider.
Robin Landry Haha. Not sure I've ever encountered it. I write in so many different ways, journaling, reviews, story ideas, clogging up Facebook, notes from my research, that I don't really encounter not having ideas.

Maybe that's the secret, write whatever you're thinking at the moment and don't worry about not having an idea for your novel. Get some space and let the muse work in other areas. She'll always come back to the current story--although I have the opposite problem--I have too many ideas and need more follow-through.
Robin Landry Writing down your thoughts helps clear the mind, otherwise those thoughts can keep you up at night.
Robin Landry I'm currently working on the idea of our world being a paradise world with free energy--which somehow we lost during a war/solar minimum/ice age, that left us without a memory of our past. We've been convinced that we've always been at war for thousands of years, when in reality, there was a peaceful world-wide society, and a temperate climate.
Robin Landry I'm constantly reading, or watching youtube videos on interesting(and sometimes conspiratorial) subjects. Then I say 'what if?' And arrange a lead character to either discover what I've discovered, so they can learn more about themselves while on their adventure.
Robin Landry My most recent book(it's not out yet), came from the idea that we can change our present, by going back into the past. This idea comes from my hypnosis class, where you can go back into a traumatic event in your past, and see it with new, more mature age we are at now.

In my new book, I have a medical resident regressed by a famous psychic, where she relives and past life, which has a positive affect on her current life. Since it's a romance-themed book, her adventure to the Civil War era, leads her to finding romance in her current life because she acted better in her past life.
