Continue to aspire is all I can say. Although it's a mystery why people want to write. I won't be the first person to say if you are a writer you will write; if you're not, you probably won't. If you aspire because you want to be rich, a career in banking is a safer bet. If you want to be famous, ask yourself why?

I don't really believe in inspiration. If I waited for that, I'd never finish a book. On days when the inspiration fairy doesn't arrive, I still write my usual amount. "Writing" is a simply grand way of describing "revision". And you have to have something to revise.
