Lisa Terry I have too many books going at the moment. I have a sequel to MOMENTS, a sequel to WHITE STAR, a vampire story, and a book I believe will be called ADULTING RIGHT NOW.
Lisa Terry I think the best thing about being a writer are the different lives you get to live while writing them.
Lisa Terry Thank you so much for your interest! My favorite authors are L.M. Montgomery and J.K. Rowling. They are/were beautiful and imaginative writers.
Lisa Terry Yes, I have three different books in the makings. One is a sequel to a book you might be familiar with. Can you guess which one?

Lisa Terry Hi, Maria. First, I'd like to apologize for the delay in answering. Second, thank you for your loyalty! What inspires me to continue to write is my own curiosity. I want to experience too many different lives to just live my own. So I create many lives and temporarily live them. I create the stories that come to me, the characters that visit me. They all happen to be teens, though one was in the New Adult range.
Lisa Terry I don't get writers block exactly. I get writers funk: lack of motivation, not liking my story anymore, having written myself into a corner, etc. There are several ways I combat this. Sometimes my mind can't unclutter because of the clutter in my writing space. If that's your bedroom, straighten it up a little. If that's just anywhere you can find, and you have no control of these little corners, then leave.

I get in my car a lot of the time, taking my computer along for the ride. I'll be driving around and stuff just comes at me like crazy. I find a safe place to pull over and spend the next hour typing stuff out.

Simply writing outside is great too. I've often found that this is the most valuable stuff I've written. The pressure is off and the creative juices are able to flow. Sitting in my backyard (or kicked back at the beach), my actual writing is really loose. But the content is amazing.

These things work for me, and they could work for you as well. Or they might not. The point is to change up things. Think of having writers block as having a stiff neck. You've been in the same position too long. Change it up. Find what works for you.
