I sometimes wish I had write's block. I have the challenge of having too many ideas to write at once, and not enough time to write them. Once I start writing, I feel like I could go on endlessly were it not for the interruptions of daily life.

I take my established characters, find a location that holds unanswered questions from antiquity, then place them in that setting to play out their roles. This gets the action rolling.
I also make heavy use of music that fits the mood of the story, and let it guide my thoughts, like the soundtrack of a movie.

"The Lost Library of Alexandria" was inspired by the loss of one of the greatest treasures of ancient times. I wanted to explore what happened to the archives and objects from this great library, whose hands they had fallen into, under what circumstances.
Set against my main character's mission to keep antiquities out of the hands of looters and museums, "The Lost Library of Alexandria" explores what happens when the ancient knowledge gets into the wrong hands.
