I'm currently working on being more consistent and finishing what I start. I have so many books and novellas that are in various stages of completion. I'm trying to focus on them one at a time. I'll be releasing a revised version of Castes early in 2015. After that I have about four or five pieces that I should be able to complete and release throughout the course of the year.
Black Box is a story about the worst ship in the fleet being sent to discover what happened to the very first interstellar mission, whose black box just turned up on Earth after 200 years.
After that, I hope to update and release Fast Forward and Acre Lodgings, two of my early books that are in desperate need of maturity.

My favorite part of writing is the beginning of the story. All of my ideas are fresh and flow onto the page with ease. The words are usually pretty smooth, too. While I might embellish in further drafts, usually everything I write early on makes it into the final draft one way or another.

I've never really faced writer's block. My closest approximation is that I get stuck on a particular story and start working on something else. One way to combat being stuck on a particular story, however, is to pick a character and start writing back story for that character. It both enriches the work and opens up doors for other ideas.
